Glacier National Park

We took a 6 day trip to Glacier National Park this summer and I cannot recommend it highly enough. One of my favorite places I have ever been! OVERVIEW: I recommend going in the summer. The temperatures were in the 70s to 80s during the day and 40s to 50s at nighttime. You cannot even drive the going to the sun road until mid-June due to snow. We had above normal temperatures for the first few days but it was still incredible. There are two "sides" to Glacier National Park the East Side (St. Mary) and West Side (West Glacier). Connecting the two sides is a road called the going to the sun road and takes about 2.5 hours to drive from one side to the other. That's why we chose to split our trip to 2 nights on the East side and 2 nights on the West side to minimize driving and experience all that Glacier has to offer.
