Fairmont Princess Scottsdale

Just a quick post about our recent trip to Phoenix/ Scottsdale for President's day

HOTEL: 5/5 Fairmont Princess Scottsdale

ROOM: 4/5 We had a suite upgrade award for Fairmont so had a 1 bedroom suite with a large bathroom, dining, living with sofabed and balcony.  The room was very spacious and convenient to the Princess pool.

POOLS: 5/5 There are 4 main pools and a spa pool.  We loved the sunset pool that had a beach that the kids could play at.  The splash pad/ waterslide pool had two fast waterslides (must be 42" tall) and the Princess pool was the warmest and had 2 hot tubs.  There was also an adult only pool.

SPA: 5/5 The spa treatments were amazing. Loved the steam room, sauna, hot tub/ cold plunge and rooftop pool.  You also have access to the gym and classes the day of your spa treatment so I tried out TRX but the aerial yoga looked aweome.

FOOD: 5/5

Pool food 5/5: very expensive but we enjoyed the hummus, salads, chicken tenders

Plaza bar 5/5: we did the pork lettuce wraps were delicious

La Hacienda: 4/5 Mexican restaurant we had the queso and tacos, platter, and salad

Bourbon Steak 5/5: we loved the lobster pot pie and steak; the amuse bouche and the dessert.

HIKES: We did the Gateway loop hike which is 4 miles and took 2.5 hours.  It's very sunny and rocky so a good workout.

KIDS CLUB: 4/5 They have a morning club 9am to 1pm for $45 or $60 with lunch.  Lily enjoyed the nature walk and arts and crafts.  The afternoon club is open for use with ping pong, pool, basketball, videogames etc.  They had fishing poles you could borrow to fish in the Lagoon.  It was no joke.

GOLF: 5/5 Joe and his brother golfed TPC course and it was incredible,
